It’s not always about telling a story. Sometimes, you don’t want things to end up between the lines.
Good copywriting won’t leave you wondering what time the show actually starts, how to apply for a Guatemalan citizenship, or if that alarm clock does or does not include double A batteries.
Personally, I like to keep things as clear as possible. Especially since batteries are pretty expensive these days.
A good story will leave you wondering.

The SEO way.
With today’s digital marketing sphere growing faster than ever, search engine optimization has worked it’s way up from being a trendy hot topic to becoming an e-commerce staple. However, many are still unsure about it’s actual importance.
There are countless ways to optimize your digital content. Unarguably the most effective is through text. For instance, in these first few sentences I missed out on at least four opportunities to optimize this text for search engines.

With the intention of recreating a regular - otherwise neglected - purchase receipt, I strived towards imitating the familiar yet interesting format in this launch poster for the LIKA Studios Small Mini Drawstring Bag.
Following the theme of the other Drawstring Bag Posters I opted for a vintage looking postcard when introducing the large size. By playing with a variety of different fonts and textures I was able to create this old school looking piece of paper greeting.
The LIKA Studios Medium Drawstring Bag was visually introduced through this imitation of a classic, cardboard shipping box. Through playing around with visual texture I wanted to mediate the well known feeling of a post parcel in your hands.
Being a fellow ballpoint pen sketcher myself, I love the sterile yet detailed look of a blueprint-like drawing. I scribbled down the original Boxy Faux Leather Jacket sketch on the back of a receipt in 2020 and wanted to bring back the originality of the vision in this 2023 launch poster.

On the 6th floor in a tiny studio apartment in Stockholm, the idea of a small-scale production of hand made jackets and bags came to life.
With todays fast fashion mindset gaining more popularity than ever, LIKA strives to change the fashion climate by providing small scale, made to order fashion - made by one pair of hands. One might argue that LIKA is the smallest fashion studio in the world.
